Fundraisers

In the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, we began donating a percentage of our annual king cake sales to the Red Cross for relief in Louisiana. We now send our donations to our local Red Cross chapter and continue to collect additional contributions at the register during the Mardi Gras season. In 2023, we collected $4,207!

The Jefferson Center for Mental Health has provided services for individuals of all ages struggling with mental health disorders and substance abuse since 1958. $1 from every mental health awareness cupcake is donated to the Jefferson Center, and contributions are also collected at the register.

Since 1990, The Ralston House has provided a safe space for children who are victims of or exposed to abuse of any kind. $1 from every pinwheel cupcake is donated to the Ralston House.  Pinwheels are sold for $5, which can be taken home or displayed in our pinwheel garden, and additional contributions are also collected at the register.

Arvada's Community Table has expanded to be much more than a food bank. They also provide resources such as rent/utility assistance, laundry services, job training, dental care, and more. $1 from every Bake Out Hunger cupcake is donated to the Community Table, and contributions are also collected at the register.
